“ First time here and this place didn't disappoint. We came here for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we were able to get seated for two right away. We were so happy that they offered lunch specials on the weekend! As a non-local, I appreciated that as I'm not used to it. Our server's name was Ibrahim. He was the best! He was attentive and was really great at his job. Very calm and patient as he waited tables. I've heard the table next to us ask for his name too because they wanted to be served by him next time. As we got seated, they give you a complimentary spring roll per person. I've never received a free spring roll anywhere before! So that was cool. For appetizers, we started with agedashi tofu which is lightly battered and fried soft tofu with a light sauce. One of my favorites! I think Red Koi is my 2nd favorite place to get it from. Too bad I'm not local! We also ordered the two special roll lunch special - buccaneer roll & the chick fila roll. It was so unique, great portions, and tasted good! We also split the chicken and shrimp hibachi because we couldn't decide what to get plus the hibachi smelled so good when you walked in. My friend said the yum yum sauce was her favorite there. We had so much leftovers but it was all worth it. My friend has a new favorite spot now and Im sure I'll come back when I next visit. ”
“ The bartender was top notch! He treated us like friends and was confident in his craft. He knocked it out of the park. The spring and California rolls are incredible! Service and food were fast! We will be back often. ”
“ Nothing really special about the atmosphere, service was great the staff check in perfectly and don't hover, but their SUSHI ROLLS!!! To die for! Hands down the best tasting sushi I've ever had. Also, DECENTLY large (girthy) rolls, so you're really getting your money's worth. ”
“ I went with 2 friends from work on our lunch hour. We were able to order, eat, pay, and get a box for our leftovers without running over on hour lunch hour. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. We all really enjoyed the Veggie Spring Rolls brought to us upon sitting down. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice. It was delicious. It's the first Veggie Fried Rice I have seen that has Zucchini in it. That was a wonderful surprise. It's nice that they don't add too much Soy Sauce too, so that you can add what you want. My friends ordered Hibachi dishes and loved theirs as well. ”
“ First time at Red Koi and I absolutely loved it! My fiance brought me out for an early birthday lunch, and the service from our waitress, Lin, was phenomenal! We got the 3 sushi roll lunch special. The chickfila roll was okay, but the others we ordered were the best sushi I have had in the Memphis area by far! Disappointed they were out of one of the ingredients for a drink I ordered, but my second choice was excellent, as well! 9/10 overall. We will definitely be back! ”
“ THE BEST SUSHI in Memphis! Hands down!!! We had some Cordova rolls, spicy crab tempura, shrimp hibachi, steak hibachi, Naruto roll, green tea ice cream and fried ice cream, and they were ALL DELICIOUS!!! The service was TOP NOTCH! First class. They treated everyone like a MVP. Very knowledgeable server. The ambiance was PERFECT for family or simply a date night! If you’re around Memphis area, it’s really worth to check them out at one of their locations! You got exactly what you’ve expected to get when you walked in. ”
“ The best Japenese/sushi restaurant in the area by far. I always sit at the bar because Chris, Priscilla, and Tai are the best bartenders and servers. So friendly, fast, and personable! Onto the food...in my 30 plus visits here I have yet to order something I wouldn't order again. You get one free spring roll and they are only 1 each to order more. I have sometimes been tempted to order 10 as my entree. They are so good!! The clear soup and house salad are delicious. I sometimes get the nachos as my entree (hint: get the tuna and crawfish mixed!). The hibachi is amazing and the sushi is always fresh. ”
“ First time in this place, the room seemed a little tight. Once we were seated, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. I had the koi special fried rice, it was a very large portion. Had to box it open and take it home. Overall, this was great Japanese cuisine. Philadelphia recommend will that high in price but it is Japanese Cuisine. The atmosphere is a little bit loud but definitely enjoyable ”
